Analyst Shkëlzen Gashi has commented on the latest political developments and the planned protest outside the Kosovo Assembly, where protesters are demanding a second reading of amendments to the Law on the Specialist Chambers.

Gashi said he understands that some political actors are seeking to remove Albin Kurti, but believes that the way they are pursuing this goal could produce the opposite result.
“I understand that they want to bring down Albin, but what I don’t understand is how they don’t see that, by trying to bring him down in this way, they are only increasing his support,” he wrote on Facebook.
The reaction came as citizens gathered outside the Kosovo Assembly. The planned protest in “Skënderbeu” Square is expected to focus on the demand for the approval of amendments to the law regulating the Specialist Chambers.
