Ejup Maqedonci, the minister of defense, met today with a group of European diplomats and experts gathered as part of the “Strategic Dialogue for Enlargement” initiative.

During the discussion, according to Minister Maqedonci, they discussed developments at the Ministry of Defense and the Kosovo Security Force, the process of building capabilities, as well as the security situation in the region and beyond.
Maqedonci said he communicated Kosovo’s position on hybrid threats and security challenges to the participants, highlighting the steps being taken in cooperation with international partners.
He also emphasized Kosovo’s engagement beyond its territory, participating in international operations in support of peace in Europe and the Middle East.
According to him, Kosovo’s goal is to create a modern and professional force and to make an active contribution to international security and peace.
