Belind Këlliçi opposes Rama: the system is corrupt at its foundation, the solution is the prime minister’s removal

In a social media post, Këlliçi claims that Rama is trying to present corruption and abuse as ordinary phenomena of governance. According to him, the primary responsibility for the fight against corruption belongs to the executive itself.

The Democratic MP stresses that a government with integrity must ensure transparency, auditing, enforcement of the law and the strengthening of procedures at their weak points. He adds that the judiciary should intervene in cases where the government fails to fulfill its obligations.

However, Këlliçi argues that Edi Rama’s government is characterized not simply by failures, but by conscious involvement in favoritism, influence peddling, abuse, misuse and the undermining of equality and competition.

According to him, this is premeditated corruption that appears in every act, decision and signature. Këlliçi says that, faced with this situation and this aggressive manner of governing, even the judiciary cannot solve the problem, even if it were independent.

He describes the system as rotten at its foundation and deliberately built, and therefore believes it cannot be improved from within.

In conclusion, the deputy chairman of the Democratic Party calls for Edi Rama’s removal, presenting this as the only way to change the system that, according to him, the prime minister has created and strengthened.
