VIDEO/ Mother and child thrown from car after crash with barrier in China, survive with broken arms

A maneuver to avoid a plastic sign on the Nanjing Ring Expressway ended in a crash after an SUV struck the guardrail and left the road.

Dashcam footage captured the moment of impact. The mother and child in the back seats were thrown through the rear windshield because they were not wearing seat belts. Both suffered broken arms.

Police said the father and son, who were sitting in the front seats and wearing seat belts, were not injured.
