Judges Zoran Gerasimovski and Lidija Zimbovska have applied to become president of the Court of Appeals in Skopje, while Tançe Petrevski is the sole candidate to head the Basic Court in Struga.

At today’s session, the Judicial Council approved the reports of the Commission that examined whether the applications for both positions had been submitted on time and whether the documentation was complete. The review found that all three candidates meet the requirements, so the selection process will proceed to the next stage.
The Council also approved the report on the working visit to the Skopje Basic Criminal Court.
At the same session, the Judicial Council appointed and dismissed lay judges for the Basic Court in Vinica, the Basic Court in Debar, the Basic Court in Kočani, the Basic Court in Ohrid and the Basic Court in Radovish.
