During the 123rd protest against the government and Prime Minister Edi Rama, a citizen opposed the government leader’s positions on security measures and pretrial detention.

According to him, the claim that Albania has too many pretrial detentions is untrue. The demonstrator said that Rama cannot stop them by interfering in judges’ decision-making or imposing sanctions.
He accused the prime minister of seeking to exert pressure on the judiciary and expand his influence across every branch of power and possible area. The demonstrator said that the participants’ demand is Rama’s resignation and the creation of a transitional government.
