Lecturer Ilirjana Kuçana has said that Vlora Hyseni was arrested in cooperation with foreign partners, adding that new facts will emerge from international sources in the coming days, because, according to her, the former SHISH director cannot be defended.

“This woman not only compromised national security, but was also arrested with the cooperation of our partners, and our partners have information that will emerge in the coming days showing that this woman cannot be defended. This is a delicate moment for Albania because she has plunged the country into an institutional crisis,” Kuçana said on News24.
According to her, Hyseni did not serve Albanians but criminal gangs. As for Prime Minister Rama, she said he must explain why he appointed Vlora Hyseni when it was known that she had been dismissed from Kosovo’s intelligence service.
“As head of SHISH, Vlora Hyseni did not serve Albanians but criminal gangs. It is a mystery how this woman managed to obtain a security certificate and citizenship so quickly. Rama must account for these matters. This is not a rosy story, but Albanians are concerned that state secrets are being used in the service of crime. SHISH is not the only institution in this state, but there are also other institutions, turning Albania into a country where money is laundered and crime runs rampant,” the lecturer said.
Regarding the blackmail that Vlora Hyseni directed at journalist Klodiana Lala, she said it was a threat to politics and business.
“She dares to threaten a journalist of integrity like Klodiana Lala, telling her, ‘I possess information about you.’ It was not a threat to Klodiana Lala, but a threat to politics and business, because the woman, together with Ergys Agasi and Rama, recorded everyone they had an interest in,” Kuçana said.
