Carrying national flags and KLA flags, citizens gathered for a fourth night to call for justice for Hashim Thaçi, Jakup Krasniqi, Rexhep Selimi and Kadri Veseli.

Çlirim Haziri, one of the protest organizers, said the gatherings would continue until their demand for justice for the liberators is met, stressing that the protesters are united by the KLA, not by any political party.

Also this Saturday, hundreds of Albanian emigrants gathered in squares in European cities for peaceful rallies. Protests were held in Cologne and Munich in Germany, Zurich in Switzerland, Vienna in Austria, as well as in Canada. A protest is also set to take place in the US on Tuesday.

A day earlier, the protesters presented four demands to the government and president of Kosovo. They included:

Repealing or amending the law on the Specialist Chambers,

Dismissing Justice Minister Donika Gervalla,

Providing unlimited support and sufficient funds for the defense of the former leaders,

Engaging international experts in the defense of the former leaders.
