Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski said that citizens are now facing the consequences of the decisions and the way the crisis was managed by the governments previously led by Zoran Zaev and Dimitar Kovachevski.

Commenting on Venko Filipche’s statements about the governments of Zaev and Kovachevski, Mickoski said that the majority of citizens believe such a model of governance should not be repeated.
“God forbid that Macedonia should once again have such governments. God forbid! I believe this is also the position of the majority of citizens. Today, we are paying the bill for the way they dealt with the crisis, while they listen to music by stars in expensive exotic destinations and travel on luxury yachts. We are paying the bills from that time—meaning you, the citizens,” Mickoski said.
According to him, the former government leaders are not facing responsibility for their actions, but continue to defend them and present the policies they pursued as correct.
“I am sorry that SDSM is once again missing the opportunity to apologize to citizens for the misguided, criminal, gangster-like and anti-national policies of the two governments led by Mr Zaev and Mr Kovachevski, which SDSM is promoting and defending today. Instead of apologizing and distancing themselves from everything they have done, they continue to promote it,” Mickoski said.
