Eduart Mullaj, a 55-year-old from Delvina, has been identified as the person wounded in the early hours of today in Patisia, Athens. According to Greek police, the wounded man said that the two people who shot him were trying to steal his motorcycle and opened fire for that reason.

However, police do not appear convinced by the 55-year-old’s statement and suspect there may be other motives. They are also investigating an incident one month ago, when shots were fired at the same location but no one was injured.
Today’s incident occurred at around 05:00 in the morning outside the 55-year-old’s home, when two people traveling on a motorcycle opened fire on him and fled.
Eduart Mullaj was taken to hospital, where he is reported to be out of danger, while police found three spent cartridges and a bullet at the scene.
