Volodymyr Zelensky has accused Russia of deliberately using drones against civilians, a practice the Ukrainian president described as a “human safari.”

His statement followed the release of footage showing a Russian drone pursuing a street vendor in Kherson. The drone then explodes near him, leaving him wounded.
“The world needs to see this. Russia has lost its mind, while its soldiers take pleasure in killing and abusing civilians,” Zelensky said.
The Ukrainian head of state said those responsible for the attack had shown no remorse. According to him, they had even publicly boasted about what they had done.
Zelensky called on the international community to increase pressure on Moscow. He warned that lasting peace cannot be achieved without reducing Russia’s military capabilities and establishing concrete security guarantees.
“Protecting lives requires us to stand firm and force Russia to take peace seriously, instead of thinking about expanding its drone attacks,” he said.
