University lecturers have announced another protest today in support of students, who continue to demand the resignation of Prime Minister Edi Rama.
A large number of lecturers have come together to express solidarity with the students and support their cause. The protest is expected to begin outside the Polytechnic University of Tirana.

The lecturers have also condemned police violence against young people during the recent days of protests, expressing concern over how the situation has been handled.
In support of the students’ demands, the lecturers have also launched a petition calling for young people’s voices and demands to be heard.
Earlier, the lecturers’ union also responded publicly to the situation surrounding the student protests, expressing concern over developments and condemning what it described as police violence against protesters.
