Young people’s interest in computer science is growing, while the job market is increasingly seeking technology specialists. Among them is Daniel Isufaj from Pogradec, who has completed his studies in the field.

The growing choice of computer science fields is linked both to the need for professionals and to the expanding use of technology across a large number of public and private services.
Daniel has begun applying the knowledge he gained during his studies through practical projects. Using his own budget, he has built the first prototype of an intelligent robot capable of performing several tasks at the same time.
The device measures temperature, humidity and light intensity, while it can also signal instances of fire. Through its camera, the robot also transmits real-time images of the elements it monitors.
Daniel said that he is currently focusing on developing internet and robotics projects. To build the robot, he used microcontrollers, which are widely known in the field, as well as various sensors that he combined to create a device that moves, observes atmospheric conditions and displays all the measurements it takes.
After making several further improvements, his objective is for the robot to also be used in the future to explore Lake Ohrid.
Although technology creates numerous employment opportunities, experience remains one of the criteria most frequently sought by employers. This makes it more difficult for young people to enter the job market and, according to Daniel, is one of the reasons that prompts many of them to consider opportunities abroad.
