In a statement to the media, a doctor supporting the students said that his generation should apologize to the young people for the current situation, while praising their stance toward politics.
He also addressed the violence during the protests, emphasizing that students should not be struck and that doctors do not wish to deal with such consequences, neither for the protesters nor for the police officers.

“We will follow in the students’ footsteps. My generation should apologize to these young people because of the old politics. This youth is giving lessons to the entire political class. It is time for the old politics to make way for the youth. The Health Service Employees’ Union includes all employees. The key to success is for all parties to become aware. Students should not be struck; we would not want to set the bones of Albanians, including those of the police. It is time for the youth to lead this country,” the doctor said in a statement to the media.
