Shkodër police have concluded the operation codenamed “Walker,” during which Fatos Arifi, a 56-year-old resident of Durrës, was arrested. He was caught in the act in the “Liria” neighborhood while allegedly attempting to take a bicycle.

The investigation began following reports from citizens and efforts by police units to document and prevent cases of property theft.
Based on the investigative actions carried out, Arifi is suspected of stealing a sum of money from a taxi, as well as two other bicycles at different locations in Shkodër.
Operation “Walker” was conducted with the aim of cracking down on property crime and preventing further thefts.
The case materials were referred to the Prosecutor’s Office at the Shkodër Court of First Instance of General Jurisdiction for further legal proceedings.
