A Vodafone network blackout has been reported in various areas of southern Albania, causing significant problems for subscribers, particularly at a time when the south is overcrowded with holidaymakers.

Network issues have been observed in several coastal areas since 14:15, with users reporting difficulties making calls, using mobile internet and communicating through the network.
Albeu.com contacted Vodafone’s customer service department to obtain an explanation of the situation. According to the response received, the company said work is currently being carried out to improve the network.
However, the outages and service problems raise questions, as the situation appears particularly problematic in beach areas, where the number of users is very high during the tourist season.
