VMRO-DPMNE is calling on opposition leader Venko Filipche to publish the polls he announced two weeks ago, which he said would show an increase in SDSM’s rating. The party is asking why the results have still not been made public.
According to the ruling party, the polls have not been released because of the election result in Brvenica, which it describes as a political blow to the Social Democrats.

In its response, VMRO-DPMNE says Filipche had stated that the surveys would show increased support for SDSM and declining public trust in VMRO-DPMNE.
However, the party notes that two weeks after the announcement, the results of the surveys have not been published. For this reason, it accuses Filipche and SDSM of remaining silent after what it calls a debacle in Brvenica.
VMRO-DPMNE is urging Filipche to make the promised polls public and explain why they have not been released.
The party wants to know whether the results really show an increase for SDSM, and asks whether they have not been published because of fears that the data do not match the earlier claims, or because they are another propaganda fabrication by SDSM headquarters.
As further evidence, VMRO-DPMNE points to the early local elections in the Municipality of Brvenica. It says the results show a large gap in political support between the two parties.
The ruling party says this reality cannot be changed with statements or, as it puts it, lies from SDSM’s propaganda machine. According to the election results it cited, SDSM lost in Brvenica by a margin of four to one, which VMRO-DPMNE considers a clear political blow.
