Police forces have intensified checks in several areas of Vlorë as part of measures taken to ensure security over the weekend.

One of the checkpoints has been set up at the Trans-Balkan roundabout, where officers stop vehicles traveling along this road and carry out the relevant checks.
The checks focus particularly on cars with tinted windows. Police inspect drivers and passengers in order to identify wanted individuals and detect possible cases of illegal possession of weapons.
The operation has also been extended to other locations across the city. According to police, the increased presence of uniformed officers aims to prevent and uncover violations of the law over the weekend.
