VLEN: UNT’s space needs to be resolved, with the new €42 million campus set to settle the matter

According to the media statement, First Deputy Prime Minister Bekim Sali and the rector of UNT, Prof. Dr. Bekim Fetaji, discussed the possibility of the university using the facilities of the Federation of Trade Unions of Macedonia. These premises are expected to ensure the normal continuation of the teaching process until the new campus is completed.

VLEN stressed that the use of these facilities is a temporary measure. The long-term solution is linked to the construction of UNT’s new campus, an investment worth around €42 million, with work already under way following the laying of the foundations.

The new campus will provide the University of Mother Teresa with modern facilities and sufficient capacity for students and academic staff, as well as for teaching and scientific research.

“VLEN considers the increase in the number of students an opportunity for the further expansion and development of UNT, not an obstacle. The necessary space is being secured at this stage, while the €42 million campus will finally resolve this problem,” VLEN said.
