This Thursday, in a video published on social media, Socialist Party MP Zegjine Çaushi inspected the material damage caused by the protests while heading to Parliament to attend the plenary session.
In her message, Çaushi called on protesters to accept Prime Minister Edi Rama’s invitation for dialogue, while urging that rallies be held without acts of violence.

Deputy Zegjine Çaushi’s reaction:
“Good morning, dear friends!
As I head to today’s plenary session, the consequences of the violence of recent days are visible on Tirana’s streets.
And naturally, I find myself asking: Is this the Tirana we all want to see? These images show more than material damage. Behind every damaged institution are people who work, and behind every destroyed business are families who live through their hard work and sacrifices.
Every one of your grievances deserves to be heard, and every concern deserves the right solution. The right solution comes through dialogue, not violence.
Dear young women and men, Tirana and Albania deserve to move forward with calm, responsibility and their eyes on Europe.
The solution is dialogue, not violence! Tirana and Albania deserve peace, responsibility and a European future.”
