A serious accident occurred on the Fier–Lushnjë highway near the village of Vajkan. Two cars collided and, following the impact, veered off the road and ended up in the roadside canal.

Four people were injured in the collision and were urgently taken to Fier Regional Hospital. Preliminary information indicates that none of them is in life-threatening condition.
The incident caused one lane of the highway to be blocked, while long lines of vehicles formed along this section. The road where the accident occurred is one of the busiest during the summer season.
Police arrived at the scene and are investigating to determine the full causes and circumstances of the accident. At the same time, efforts are underway to restore normal traffic flow in the area.
