Vlorë police have successfully concluded the operation codenamed “Order,” shedding light on the burning of a car about a month ago in the “1 Maji” neighborhood. Two individuals were arrested during the operation, suspected of acting as the person who ordered the crime and the person who carried it out.
According to official police information, the incident took place on September 22, 2026, at around 1:20 a.m., when a vehicle owned by a 50-year-old woman who lives in Vlorë was engulfed in flames.

Immediately after the incident, investigators suspected that the fire may have been caused by a technical fault in the engine. However, following an in-depth investigation by crime investigation specialists, under the supervision of the Prosecutor’s Office, they concluded that the fire had been deliberately set.
As the investigation continued, police identified and detained two men, identified by the initials R. K., 33, and T. K., 36, both residents of Vlorë.
Preliminary investigative findings indicate that 33-year-old R. K. allegedly ordered 36-year-old T. K. to set fire to the 50-year-old woman’s car.
Investigative work is continuing to fully document the circumstances of the incident and clarify all its details.
The case file was submitted to the Prosecutor’s Office attached to the Vlorë Court of First Instance of General Jurisdiction, on the charge of “Destruction of property by fire,” committed in collaboration.
