A source from the presidential administration disclosed that the focus of the discussion between Trump and Netanyahu will be the confrontation with Iran, the progress of talks with Lebanon, and steps to deepen the Abraham Accords.
During an exchange with journalists, Trump acknowledged the existence of some divergences with Netanyahu on the Iranian issue, but stressed that the bond between them remains strong. “We have a small difference, but we are very close to each other,” he stated.
As for the meeting with Zelenskyy, the agenda will focus on the progress of the peace process between Moscow and Kyiv. The White House official emphasized the urgency of the moment, saying that “now is the time to end the war.”
Earlier, Trump dismissed Zelenskyy’s claims that Moscow is transmitting secret data on American military installations to Tehran. “I don’t think they have done that, certainly not at a high level,” the American president commented.
After the conclusion of these meetings at the White House, both Netanyahu and Zelenskyy will honor with their presence in Washington the funeral ceremony of the late Senator Lindsey Graham.
