Donald Trump has again commented on developments in Iran, describing the situation there as a “humanitarian crisis of epic proportions” and calling for it to end without delay.

In a post on Truth Social, the US president criticized the Iranian leadership. He claimed that the regime “is not paying large segments of its armed forces,” while continuing to kill protesters.
“The Islamic Republic of Iran is teetering and killing protesters, even when they are not protesting, at levels never seen before,” Trump wrote.
Trump did not clarify whether his statement referred to the protests held in January or to new incidents of violence that have yet to be reported.
“This is a humanitarian crisis of epic proportions, and it must stop NOW,” he concluded.
