A serious accident was recorded this evening on the road near Fishtë, part of the Lezhë–Shkodër highway.

An “Audi” vehicle struck a mini-scooter ridden by a 12-year-old. The minor was urgently transported to hospital, but was unable to survive his injuries and died on the way.
After the collision, the “Audi” driver lost control of the vehicle, which veered off the road and ended up in a ditch.
Police arrived at the scene and began documenting the accident, as well as determining its circumstances and sequence of events. The vehicle’s driver was escorted away by officers.
Authorities are continuing their investigation to clarify the causes of this tragic incident.
