According to police, the conflict began at a hotel, where the 18-year-old, who worked as a waiter, was assaulted by four people over a dispute concerning payment for work he had completed.
After receiving information that the 18-year-old’s uncle had set out for the hotel armed, police intervened and stopped his vehicle, seizing a Kalashnikov, 3 magazines and 84 rounds of ammunition.
As the investigation continued, 28-year-old F. H. and 20-year-old E. D. were arrested, while 36-year-old A. F. was declared wanted. Another 36-year-old, M. M., is being prosecuted while at liberty.
Meanwhile, the people who assaulted the 18-year-old had cut the camera cables and deleted all footage of the assault in an effort to conceal the incident.

Kavajë / A serious criminal incident prevented. A serious criminal incident was prevented thanks to information obtained through operational channels and the timely intervention of police services, after a man carrying a firearm in his vehicle set out to kill the people who had assaulted his nephew. The 47-year-old was arrested after being caught with an automatic firearm, 3 magazines and 84 rounds of live ammunition. The hotel owner’s son and one of his friends were arrested, the owner’s other son was declared wanted, while the owner’s son-in-law is being prosecuted while at liberty. They had assaulted the 18-year-old, who worked as a waiter at the hotel’s establishment and is the nephew of the 47-year-old.
After receiving a report of a conflict at a hotel in the Mali i Robit area of Golem, officers from the Kavajë Police Commissariat and the Golem Police Station immediately went to the scene, preventing the conflict from escalating further. Initial investigative actions established that F. H., together with A. F., E. D. and M. M., had assaulted G. N., 18, a waiter at the hotel’s establishment, because he had not been paid for work he had completed. The 18-year-old is at Kavajë Hospital under medical care.
While carrying out their actions, police services received operational information that the 18-year-old’s uncle, M. N., 47, a resident of Kavajë, had set out for the hotel armed with a firearm, intending to kill the people who had assaulted his nephew. Police services immediately intervened, stopping the vehicle driven by the man near the hotel. During a search of the vehicle, police found an automatic firearm, a Kalashnikov, 3 magazines and 84 rounds of live ammunition inside a backpack.
Investigative actions also established that the scene had been cleaned, the security cameras’ DVR had been removed and the cables had been cut. At the conclusion of the initial investigative actions, F. H., 28, and E. D., 20, both residents of Kavajë, were arrested in flagrante; A. F., 36, was declared wanted; and M. M., 36, a resident of Kavajë, was prosecuted while at liberty. M. N., 47, a resident of Kavajë, was also arrested in flagrante. In cooperation with the Prosecution, work is continuing to fully document the incident in legal terms. The procedural materials were referred to the Prosecution for further action.
