After gathering in the square, the protesters will begin marching toward the Prime Minister’s Office, where they will continue to voice their dissatisfaction with the political class.
The protesters’ main demand remains the resignation of Prime Minister Edi Rama and his government.
The protest initially began as a reaction against a tourism project in Zvërnec, but over the weeks it evolved into a broader citizens’ movement focused on opposing corruption and demanding changes in governance.
Although two months have passed, the citizens are not stopping. They take to the streets every day and say they are determined not to leave until Prime Minister Edi Rama resigns.
