Police from the Skopje Internal Affairs Department arrested three people today, D.D., A.A. and F.L., on suspicion of committing the criminal offense of “causing general danger,” as provided for under Article 288 of the Criminal Code.
According to the statement from the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the incident is related to a fire that broke out at a secondary raw materials landfill in the Chair area, where an excavator was engulfed in flames.
None found
The case was reported on July 1, 2026, at around 23:20, to the Chair police station.
After receiving the information, officers from the Skopje Internal Affairs Department identified the suspects in a BMW with Resen license plates and then deprived them of their liberty.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs said that, once the full documentation of the case is completed, the appropriate criminal complaint will be filed./Telegrafi/
