The Ankara summit continued on its second day with the official welcoming ceremony for the leaders of the Alliance’s member states, who also took the traditional photographs alongside the NATO Secretary General and the President of Turkey.

The British newspaper also drew attention to the appearance of Prime Minister Edi Rama, who once again showed up wearing white sneakers instead of black shoes.

“In NATO summit fashion news, Albanian prime minister Edi Rama has turned up in his signature snow-white trainers,” The Guardian wrote.

The British media outlet also focused on an accessory worn by French President Emmanuel Macron, specifically his glasses.

“There were no major developments in the arrivals, but it is worth noting that French president Emmanuel Macron has returned to wearing his signature aviator sunglasses, even indoors. When he first appeared in them at the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting earlier this year, it was said the reason was a burst blood vessel in his eye. His look attracted a great deal of attention and prompted a wave of new orders for the eyewear manufacturers he wears. He has been wearing them again for about a week. Could the eye problem have returned?” The Guardian asks.
