The body of the 33-year-old who fell into the Mat River while climbing the Vasha Bridge is found by divers

After several days of intensive searching, diver teams have located and recovered from the waters of the Mat River the body of Erkin Lika, 33. The young man tragically lost his life on Saturday afternoon while conducting a rope climbing activity on the Vasha Bridge, in the Klos area.

It is suspected that the victim ended up in a whirlpool of the river, which made survival impossible and hindered his immediate discovery. The rescue operation took place for several days in a row, until diving specialists managed to make contact with the lifeless body.
