TIRANA – Once again, a large number of citizens gathered at the 40th protest against the government led by Prime Minister Edi Rama.
During the demonstration in the square, participants leveled accusations against the government cabinet and demanded political and legal accountability over issues which, according to them, are linked to misgovernance and corruption.

Among the chants heard from the crowd was “Arrest Balluku”, a direct message aimed at former Deputy Prime Minister Belinda Balluku.
Another demand from the protesters was greater transparency and accountability from institutions, as they continued to oppose the government’s policies in several sectors.
This gathering comes as part of the repeated protests that have been held in recent weeks against the ruling majority.
