Tetovo police detain 12 citizens of the Republic of Bulgaria for violating the Law on Foreigners

SPB Tetovo announced that yesterday (24.06.2026), at 15:15, at a building under construction on “Todor Cipovski Merxhan” Street in Tetovo, police officers deprived 12 citizens of the Republic of Bulgaria, aged 34 to 66, of their liberty while they were working at the site.

According to police, the individuals were found to be staying irregularly and without having reported their presence in this area.

They were taken to the Tetovo Police Station for further proceedings, and the appropriate charges will be filed against them under the Law on Foreigners, SPB said.
