According to preliminary information, he lit a fire for personal reasons, but the flames spread rapidly through areas of shrubs and vegetation, aided by strong winds.
Since 05:00 this morning, hundreds of personnel and dozens of vehicles from 11 municipalities have been involved in the operation to extinguish the active fires.
Constant shifts in wind direction and the changing course of the fire have caused the flames to engulf an unoccupied house.
