During July, the Morinë border crossing recorded a high volume of travelers and vehicles. Data from the Ministry of Finance show that around 422,000 travelers and 130,000 vehicles were processed during the month at the border crossing, which links Albania and Kosovo.

Meanwhile, in the first five days of August alone, more than 90,000 holidaymakers from Kosovo passed through Morinë to enter Albania. Members of the diaspora were also among them.
The highest volume was recorded during the first weekend of August, when around 50,000 arrivals were registered.
The increase in traffic coincides with the peak of the summer tourist season, a period during which many citizens of Kosovo choose Albania’s coast for their holidays.
