Students and lecturers have rejected Prime Minister Edi Rama’s invitation to dialogue, while chairs placed in front of the Prime Minister’s Office were thrown away during the protest.
Protesters continued chanting “Resignation!”, calling for the head of government to step down. The chairs placed for the dialogue were thrown away in opposition to his invitation.

This is the ninth day of the student protest, while the young people have also been joined by lecturers, who today began boycotting teaching at public universities, in accordance with the union’s decision.
Before arriving at the Prime Minister’s Office, the students and lecturers gathered near the Polytechnic University of Tirana and then began marching along the boulevard.
