During the summer season, hospitality venues in Struga will be allowed to remain open one hour later than usual. During the upcoming extended holiday weekend, they will be permitted to operate until 3 a.m.

The Struga Municipal Council approved the decision at its latest session to create conditions for cultural and tourism activities and other public events to take place without disruption. On weekends and during public events, hospitality venues will close at 2 a.m. instead of 1 a.m., while on August 1, 2 and 3, they will be allowed to operate until 3 a.m.
According to an announcement from the Municipality of Struga, the one-hour extension will also apply on July 26, 27 and 28; August 5, 6, 7, 9, 13, 14, 15, 26, 28 and 29; September 8 and 28; October 11 and 23; November 1, 8 and 22; and December 21 and 25, 2026.
The local authorities believe the measure will support the tourism season and the local economy, while also helping to organize more efficiently activities that promote Struga as an attractive tourist destination.
The municipality’s press office said the Municipality of Struga will continue to provide conditions for the development of tourism, hospitality and cultural life, while taking into account legal provisions and the interests of citizens.
