Speeches conclude as protesters march through the streets of Tirana

Today’s protest, now in its 129th day, continued with citizens marching through the streets of Tirana after the speeches concluded.

“Albania is not for sale, jail the government” and “Down with the narco-state” were among the slogans chanted during the rally.

For 129 days, citizens have been protesting in the square, calling for the resignation of Prime Minister Edi Rama and his government.
