A 33-year-old man with the initials B.S. was detained by police last night in the Gazi Baba area of Skopje.

According to a statement from North Macedonia’s Ministry of Internal Affairs, the incident occurred on 01.10.2026, at around 7:35 p.m., when police officers from the Skopje Internal Affairs Sector detained the Skopje resident.
During a search of his home, carried out under a court warrant, the authorities found and seized a Kashikara hand grenade.
B.S. was held at a police station, while following the completion of the case documentation, the relevant charges are expected to be filed against him, the Ministry of Internal Affairs said.
