Gazment Bardhi has reacted to the wounding of 28-year-old Erjon Vishkulli during the protest, calling for the person responsible for hitting the young man with a suspected rubber bullet to be identified as soon as possible.
The head of the PD parliamentary group said that Vishkulli had undergone surgery on his left eye in an effort to save his sight. The young man is known for his passion as an ultras fan of the Albanian national team and Elbasani.

The Tirana Prosecutor’s Office must act immediately, without any delay, to identify the person who ordered and the perpetrator of this horrific act—the shooting of a young man in the eye with a bullet—who is currently fighting in the operating room to save the sight in his left eye.
Today, not tomorrow!
Anyone who ordered and anyone who carried out this serious act must be identified, brought to justice and arrested without delay, in accordance with the law. Tomorrow may be too late. The Prosecutor’s Office and law-enforcement agencies must demonstrate through concrete action that the life and health of every citizen are sacred and that no one is above the law when violating the rights and physical integrity of a young person!
Erjon Vishkulli is a patriotic young man, an ultras fan of the national team and Elbasani, who was protesting for a better Albania. He has committed no crime and done nothing wrong to justify such violence. No circumstances can justify such a horrific act.
At this difficult time, we all pray for Erjon’s health and full recovery. We stand by him and his family, with solidarity and unconditional support.
Justice for Erjon! No delay, no tolerance, no one above the law!
