A long-standing conflict between two young men, who were once close friends, has ended in an attempted murder inside a futsal court in Shkodër.

The incident took place on the evening of October 11, when Klaus Fermosi, 25, went to the sports field premises with the intention of killing Jozef Ujka, 26.

According to preliminary information, the 25-year-old pointed the firearm at Ujka and tried to shoot him, but the pistol did not fire.

As a result, the suspected attempted murder was not carried out. At the time of the incident, other people were also at the futsal court premises and intervened to remove Fermosi from the scene.

After the incident, Shkodër Police identified and declared Klaus Fermosi wanted, suspected of attempted murder with a firearm.

Meanwhile, police forces are continuing their work to locate and arrest him. The intervention of those present and the gun’s failure to fire appear to have prevented a tragic outcome for the 26-year-old, who escaped an attack that could have taken his life.

Conflict over a girl began five years ago

This old feud is suspected to have culminated in a serious episode on the evening of October 11, when Fermosi allegedly entered the futsal court premises and pointed a firearm at Ujka, trying to shoot him.
