Shehaj: Braçe’s violence against journalist, a consequence of arrogance and Rama’s governing model

Agron Shehaj, the leader of the Opportunity Party, responded after the emergence of footage showing socialist MP Erion Braçe shoving journalist Marsel Rupi. The incident took place outside the Parliament’s Presidency building, as the News24 reporter approached to ask a question.

In a social media post, Shehaj stresses that it is unacceptable and unimaginable for a member of parliament to use physical violence against a journalist. He sees this behavior as a result of the arrogance, bullying, and impunity that, according to him, Edi Rama has fostered with his governing model.

“They are losing their nerve. Their end is near!”, Shehaj writes, signaling that these actions are signs of a regime heading towards collapse.
