Albanians have secured two seats in the Serbian Parliament and remain in the running for a third, according to preliminary election results. Shaip Kamberi, the leader of the Albanian Coalition list, described the result as a historic achievement.
The Albanian Coalition received 27,230 votes. With the 35% increase in electoral coefficients for national minorities, the calculated figure reaches 36,761 votes.

In his reaction, Kamberi attributed the result to political unity, citizens’ trust and a shared commitment to dignified representation. He thanked the citizens of Preševo, Bujanovac and Medveđa for their trust, the political entities for their unity, as well as Kosovo’s Prime Minister Albin Kurti for his engagement, reports “Bota sot”.
Kamberi stressed that cooperation during elections must also continue in representation and in efforts to secure the rights of Albanians.
