Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti, speaking about the Hague proceedings, said that Serbia had committed genocide against Albanians. At the start of his presentation on the fourth government mandate, the prime minister said that war crimes and crimes against humanity had been committed in Kosovo, and that genocide had been committed against the Albanian civilian population.

According to him, no court can tarnish the KLA’s war. He added that all of Kosovo was awaiting the decision of the Specialist Chambers on the former KLA leaders.
“I congratulate you on the constitution of the 11th legislature of the Assembly. These days, we are all anxious as we await the verdict in the judicial proceedings against KLA leaders Hashim Thaçi, Kadri Veseli, Rexhep Selimi and Jakup Krasniqi.
We are clear about what happened. War crimes and crimes against humanity were committed in Kosovo, and genocide was committed against the Albanian civilian population. No court can tarnish the KLA’s war,” Kurti said.
