New details have emerged from the SPAK searches at the home of Israeli businessman Ron Yeffet in Tirana. Journalist Klodiana Lala reports that various premises belonging to businesses suspected of involvement in arms trafficking have been searched. Searches have also been conducted at businesses and the offices of various officials.

Ron Yeffet, the businessman, is expected to be the first person questioned as someone with knowledge of the case, and the contracts between the parties will be examined.

In an audio recording involving Arben Ahmetja, the Albanian national Ermal is also mentioned, who, according to Ahmetaj, was the coordinator between Ron Yeffet and the government, suggesting that this may be Ermal Nufi. The investigation is expected to extend to several EU countries and beyond.
