“Eight victims of West Nile fever and eight weeks without a water report in Gostivar. Two health crises, the same pattern of conduct by the Mickoski and Klekovski governments: a delayed response, institutional chaos, silence and a lack of accountability,” SDSM said.
According to the party, warnings have been issued for weeks that the government acted too slowly to prevent West Nile fever, spray against mosquitoes, undertake systematic measures and ensure timely protection for citizens.
“The number of sick people and deaths is rising, and there is no accountability,” SDSM added.
Referring also to the health situation in Gostivar, the party said that approximately 5,000 citizens had sought medical assistance, while even after eight weeks, the full report on the water had still not been presented to the public./Telegrafi/
