The Ministry of Internal Affairs announces that, starting Monday, October 12, 2026, the “Safe City” traffic monitoring system will also be put into operation in the area covered by the Ohrid Sector for Internal Affairs.

The cameras will be activated after the technical verifications and final tests on the road sections in this region have been completed.
According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the system’s operation aims to strengthen continuous traffic monitoring, identify traffic violations more quickly, encourage greater compliance with the rules, and improve road safety.
The ministry calls on drivers to comply responsibly with traffic rules and regulations, thereby contributing to safer traffic.
