RENEA and the Korçë Local Police Directorate have launched a search operation in the city of Korçë for a person sentenced to 18 years in prison for the criminal offense of murder.

According to preliminary information, police had received intelligence that the wanted person might be hiding in an apartment building in the city of Korçë. Based on this information, RENEA forces and local police officers conducted checks inside the building.
However, the wanted person was not located during the searches.
Sources said the checks will continue, while police are working to determine the whereabouts of and apprehend the convicted person.
