Prime Minister Edi Rama has reacted following the incident in Parliament, where Agron Shehaj took the classified document on the agreement with the US and ran off with it.

In a video showing the moment Shehaj fled with the document, the head of government described the leader of the Mundësia Party as a “Ballist,” saying the act proves that “old habits die hard.”
Rama also called on the prosecution to ensure that he is dealt with as prescribed by law.
According to the prime minister, the person who took the classified document and ran off with it is a Ballist who calls everyone in his path a thief. He compared his escape to Ballists running away after entering a chicken coop to steal chickens, adding that this publicly proved that a vice disappears only with the soul.
Rama wrote that he hopes, although he does not expect, that the prosecution will assign this “thieving crow filled with hatred” the place prescribed by law for those who steal classified documents. At the same time, he expressed sympathy for the innocent young woman and thanked God that she escaped without serious injury while running in panic after the man he called a thief.
