The Rahovec branch of the Democratic League of Kosovo has called for elections at all levels of the party, citing the poor result in the recent elections. It also confirmed that it has collected signatures to convene an extraordinary LDK assembly, which will consider the dismissal of chairman Lumir Abdixhiku.
In a statement to EO, the head of this branch, Burim Krasniqi, said that the demand for elections covers all structures, from sub-branches to the central level, precisely because of the unsatisfactory election result. He added that the Rahovec branch has provided signatures for the extraordinary meeting that will decide on Abdixhiku’s mandate.
