Mehdini said that the movement has received the support of members of the European Parliament, who have urged protesters to remain in the square and not withdraw, as that, according to her, is where true victory lies.
“The ‘Flamingo Revolution’ has also affected the Socialist Party, while protests have also been held in municipalities. The prime minister’s reactions show that he has been affected and that the protests have had an impact.
There is no stopping now. We have the support of members of the European Parliament, and their message has been not to leave the square or abandon the protests. The square will be your victory,” she said.
